Dear Sir, I have a query. Please solve it. I am in a process of purchasing a flat. I have made an agreement to sale with builder on 22nd April 2013. I had read in the news paper that LBT will be applicable on flats for which, agreement to sale is done after 22nd May 2013 i.e. after implementation of LBT. Now my builder is telling me that I have to pay LBT @ 1 % on govt.valuation as agreements done after 01 Apr.2013 need to pay LBT. Please solve my problem.
