New version of File Validation Utility ( 3.8 and 2.134 ) is released which is effective from 01.07.2013. Key Features of new FVU are attached herewith.
Welcome change is no section code ( e.g. 94C or 94J etc. ) is required to be quoted in challan details which will facilitate linking of deductions of 2 or more different sections to single challan.
However it is in the interest of assessee to use separate challan for each section code to facilitate reconciliation and better monitoring.
