Due date for Income tax return filling extended to 31st August, 2018

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) via Notification dated 26th July, 2018 has extended the 'due date' of filing return of income for AY 18-19 to 31^st August, 2018 for certain categories of taxpayers for whom the original 'due date' of filing return of income was 31^st July, 2018.
