News about Bank Branch Audit (PSU) for Fy 2012-13
As per the information provided by Central Statutory Auditor of one of Nationalised Banks, the allotments are expected to be made within next 10-15 days. Category II, III & V firms will received 1-2 branches and Category 1 firms will receive 2-3 branches.

Sir what about fresh audit firms, our firm is category III and is 7 years old and we are getting other bank audit like concurrent since last 5 years but still no statutory audit as when inquired in RBI they said our firm's name is their in the list being sent to all 25 public sector bank but still no bank have called us for being empanelled with them

Unfortunately, there is no formal redressal mechanism for these types of grievances. My informal advice is to write letter, emails individually to ICAI, PD committee, President, VP, Central Council Members and finally if these do not work you can also use RTI.
ReplyDeleteFurther, you may also request some of central statutory auditor of any PSU bank to help you in this regard.
Unfortunately i have mailed my grievance to all the sitting council member of the western region but in vein , yes now probably considering an option of filing RTI with RBI and ICAI.
